Our history

Where we start
The United Methodist Church has been in service as an evangelical church in Paniqui in as early as 1903. It was Dr. Ernest T. Lyons, together with travelling elder, Felipe Marquez, who organized the Paniqui United Methodist Church. Other workers who assisted in the organization of the church were Lorenzo Tamayo, Esteban Guillermo, Anastacio Ortiz Sr., Flomeno Galang, and Ambrocio Bernardo.

What we've been through
In 1984, the kindergarten school was named Paniqui United Methodist Learning Center. Later, in 1998, it was renamed to Paniqui Christian School Inc. The incorporation of the school was made possible upon the recommendation of the School Board of Trustees with the approval of the Central Luzon Philippines Annual Conference (CLPAC). The school was awarded a certificate of incorporation by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on June 25, 1999. The Elementary and High School Departments were also created after the incorporation.

Who we are now
Today, the Aldersgate Institute, Inc. proudly stands, amidst ups and downs, as the longest- serving Christian school in the progressive town of Paniqui, Tarlac. It has also added another school building as its annex, located a few blocks away from its main three-story building. The school is also offering now a complete basic education curriculum, which include all four strands of Senior High School – STEM, ABM, HUMSS, and GAS – and is on process to offer TESDA and CHED courses in the future.
